Title: Boston relieved as judge overturns Brady’s ‘Deflategate’ suspension

The topic of my article is about NFL QB Tom Brady’s suspension being lifted. If you can remember about 2/3 of a year ago in December, in the AFC Championship game, The Patriots were using footballs below the PSI limit. The balls were not legal to play with but they played with them anyways. About 4 days later the NFL found out that they cheated and deflated the footballs. So they went under investigation for about 2-3 months. Finally they found out that Tom Brady played the leading role in deflating the footballs. So they gave Tom Brady a 4 game suspension and they took away some of the Patriots draft picks. So, Tom Brady went and appealed the suspension, but the NFL turned down the request. About 1 week later Tom Brady took his case to court and Judge Berman lifted his suspension. Personally I believe that Tom Brady shouldn’t have been released from suspension. The reason is that he was acting the wrong way about this situation. He was given the chance to tell Roger Goodell what the text messages he texted about deflating the balls said without even turning in his phone to them but he refused to and later destroyed the phone and lied by saying he dropped it on the ground on accident. Then the next day the NFL Commissioner said he wasn’t upset with him but just asked what did the text say and if you tell me that you won’t have any penalties, but Tom wouldn’t tell them so they suspended him for the first 4 games of the season. Also, 4 games isn’t that much for doing what he did. If anyone else would’ve done this, they would’ve been kicked out of the league. This really makes me mad on the inside that somebody would lie straight up to somebody’s face way more than once and then get a super small suspension, then go to federal court to appeal his suspension once again and somehow get released from suspension. This event doesn’t affect the world as much as it does all the millions of football fans in America. This will cause huge social media uproars and fights. This will build to the anger of football fans. This anger has been building for almost 5 years. Starting with when the NFL referees went on strike and most of the NFL players with them. All the way up to just last season whenever Dez Bryant CAUGHT THE BALL and made a football move diving into the endzone and they rule it an incomplete pass after a challenge flag was thrown. But this event I believe just burst the bubble of the NFL fans and we’ll be hearing about this ruling for many years.
