The topic of my article is about Greg Hardy announcing that he will not try to reduce suspension even more than it is due to other cases of suspension lifted and that making people mad. The title of my article is Cowboys DE Greg Hardy will not seek further reduction of suspension. This isn’t really that big of a deal to Greg Hardy. He says that he believes this will keep the team calm and not cause any uproars from fans and critics alike. The article was found at http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/dallas-cowboys/20150910-cowboys-de-greg-hardy-will-not-seek-further-reduction-of-suspension.ece .
Greg Hardy, a Dallas Cowboy DE, was initially suspended 10 games by Commissioner Roger Goodell. He later got his suspension lifted to 4 games in mid July. Then after Tom Brady’s suspension being lifted he thought that he might try to get his lifted too, but in the end he decided not to, and said that he believed that the team is ok with the 4 game punishment.
Honestly, this doesn’t make me that mad. The reason is that he did something that was wrong. Then he got lucky enough to bring the suspension down to 4 games instead of 10. So in the end this really won’t hurt the Cowboy’s as much as if he were suspended 10 games ( practically 2/3’s of season). This event doesn’t affect me directly, but it will affect me from watching him play for my favorite team for their first 4 games.
This event will not really affect the world but it will affect the football fans in America, Canada, and the UK. This will upset some Cowboys fans, but the thing is that he did something very wrong. So it’s only right for him to be punished for his act of violence. I believe he understands that and the teams understands that as well. Hopefully the fans will realize that he should still have some punishment for what he did.
great job, Col!
