Life as a Dream

There I was pop! I threw the ball into the catcher’s mitt. I was warming up in the bullpen getting ready for the big game at the ball-fields.

It was sometime in the middle of May and, well maybe it was April well anyways it was in the Middle of April and I was warming up for our game against the Pirates. And I was starting on the mound!!!

We finally started the game and then it felt like it was going as fast as an Race car that is once the game started. The first inning went by 3 up 3 down with only a few pitches, and I started getting fired up.

The next three innings went by pretty fast except for the parts that we were hitting. Those three innings I was throwing a No-hitter and I started getting nervous. By then the score was 9-0 we were winning.

When we got on defense I realized that this was probably going to be the last inning that I was going to pitch this game so I threw my best to not give up an hit.

There it was it felt like slow motion the last pitch that I was going to throw that inning. It was spinning like a fastball would usually and was looking good. The next thing I know strike 3 ballgame!!! The umpire proclaimed. I threw it straight down the plate. I was super excited.
After the game I was so excited about the game, I almost forgot to get my team drink, but that wasn’t the important thing. After this happened it made me realize that not to get down on my self. Another thing I realized was to never doubt my self but to have confidence.
